There is a collection of drugstore photos hosted at the UIC Carli collection. Two of them may be of interest. They are color slides showing the corner of Joliet and Ogden in the mid 50s One is the Grosse Drugstore next to the H.C Wooley 5 and 10.
The other shows the Grosse pharmacy looking west, showing the Kroger Department store, where Klem's restaurant is today and Janda's drive in to it's immediate west.
