Another 12" of snow tonight and temperatures below zero - the coldest since 1985, but on January 16, 1979, the great Chicago blizzard hit our area! Do you remember? Tell us your stories!

The blizzard of '79 was the last winter I spent in Chicago. I moved to sunny California and have never looked back.I miss Chicago pizza though!
ReplyDeleteI remember that our dogs were able to get up on the roof by ways of a snow mountain in our yard! Thank God for our snowblower!
