A Look Back in Time at the Lyons Hofmann Brewery Building - Late 1800's vs. the 2013 Fire
The Hofmann Brewery Building was built in Lyons in the late 1800's. On November 22, 2013, it was destroyed by fire.
The historic building will be torn down according to CBS 2 Chicago. See the video at the bottom of this post.

It's amazing how these fires hit historic structures. What Lyons hasn't torn down in their historical district for condos, fires take care of. Reminds me of Lyon's northern twin, Niles (IL) when years ago, everything old near Touhy and Milwaukee either fell to the bulldozer or flames. And yes, replaced by condos. (Well at least Niles' looks attractive)
