BREAKING: Fire in old Hofmann Brewery Building

Several fire departments were called early Friday to battle a fire at the historic Chamber of Commerce and Historical Society building in southwest suburban Lyons.

From NBC: Firefighters early Friday morning remained on the scene of a fire at the historic Chamber of Commerce and Historical Society building in southwest suburban Lyons.

The building isn't occupied and is mostly used for storage, but a portion of the building collapsed in the fire, officials said.

Several fire departments were called to the building, at 3901 Joliet Rd., at about 3 a.m.  No injuries were reported as of 4 a.m.
